technology tools are utilized?
Mark W. Sims' mediation offices include two large conference rooms and four additonal breakout rooms. The mediation offices contain a free, Wireless Internet (WiFi) Access Point for attorneys and clients to stay in close contact with their offices and homes.
What other technology based services are offered?
When necessary to effectuate comparative asset and debt evaluations, Mr. Sims utilizes illustrative spreadsheets on an ipad. Comparative spreadsheets for asset valuation and distribution negotiations can be prepared by the Mediator in advance of the mediation if requested by the parties (and if Inventory and Appraisement documents are provided to the Mediator by each side prior to the mediation date).
In addition, Mr. Sims takes advantage of numerous online resources to help with the analysis by the parties and their attorneys of financial and other issues. Furthermore, he has created a Guideline Child Support calculator that is linked to this website based on the methodology prescribed by the Texas Attorney General in their published child support charts.
To expedite the creation of the documents resulting from the mediation, Mark W. Sims utilizes document assembly models in the preparation mediation documents which allow for greater detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
