Mediation Rates and Cancellation Policy

 

How much does mediation cost in Family Law Cases?

Mediation is a bargain compared with the cost of preparing a case for trial and 

the financial and emotional cost of the trial itself.  

For family law cases, half-day and full-day rates per party are detailed on the income-based sliding scale below.    

Each party's rate is based on that party's respective gross monthly income as follows:   

Half-Day Rates Per Party - Family Law *

Up to $1,800/mo.                                                $325.00

$1,801 to $3,000                                                  $375.00

$3,001 to $4,200                                                  $425.00

$4,201/mo. and above                                         $475.00

Full-Day Rates Per Party (Includes Lunch) - Family Law *

Up to $1,800/mo.                                                $650.00

$1,801 to $3,000                                                  $750.00

$3,001 to $4,200                                                  $850.00

$4,201/mo. and above                                         $950.00

How much does mediation cost in General Civil Litigation cases outside of Family Law?

Half-day and full-day rates per party are as follows:  

Rates Per Party - General Civil Litiation *

Half Day Rate                                                       $475.00

Full Day Rate (includes lunch)                            $950.00

What is your cancellation policy?

* Cancellation Policy

A Mediation that is cancelled BY EITHER PARTY FOR ANY REASON 

on or before the 5th business day prior to the date of the mediation 

is subject to a cancellation fee of $100.00 per party for a half-day 

mediation and $175.00 per party for a full-day mediation.  

The mediation cancellation fee will be waived in the event that 

another mediation is scheduled in the same time slot as the 

cancelled mediation.
